Sign a Free Agent Contract with the RPFL

The RPFL is a professional football league that provides adult football players an opportunity to gain more experience while attaining great quality game film that can be used to market them to the NFL, CFL, USFL and XFL. We are starting our 2023 RPFL Miami Season on February 12th and welcome all free agents an opportunity. All players must be 18 years of age and skilled enough to play professional football.

We will have our 2023 RPFL Miami Season Draft on February 11th and all players including new incoming free agents must report to Moore Park Orange Bowl field on February 12th at 10am. All players will be offered a 1 year/ $592,000.00 performance based incentive contract with a possibility of guaranteed money in the form of a base salary, signing bonus and or roster bonus.

Training Camp Arrival

All players signing a free agent contract for the 2023 Season must report to training camp check in on February 12th 10am at Moore Park 765 NW 36th Street Miami, FL 33127.

What To Expect

You will be coached and evaluated throughout the entire training camp which will last 2 days. You will have media interviews, meetings with coaches and multiple practices throughout training camp. Players please understand that you are still competing against the other players on your team and we will not keep an unrealistic number of players at any position. For example, a team will not move into the first game with 20 Running backs or 25 Wide receivers and will make cuts to accommodate their roster.

We will provide all players with daily schedules with exact times and locations of all Press conferences, meetings, meals, and treatments during training camp. Prepare to live in Miami, FL until February 22nd. We encourage all players to pack light if you are traveling because you will be living in shared dormitory style housing if you need housing. Please only bring one suitcase. You do not have to stay in our league housing and can live wherever you choose. Housing will be provided free to any player that earns a performance-based incentive on a game-to-game basis. If a player does not earn a performance-based incentive, then he will have to pay $30 a day to live in league provided housing. All players living in league provided housing must pay $30 a day through training camp and the first week of the season which will include the entire training camp. We also encourage all of our out of state players to drive if possible because there will not be transportation provided to camp or practice.

What to Bring

Background Check

You can obtain a background check from your local police department before arriving at training camp or we can obtain one for you once you arrive for $40. Every player must bring a completed background check or $40 to purchase a background check.

Physical/ Clearance to Play Football

All players must be evaluated by a sports physician and physically cleared to play football. You have two options: Option 1- See your family doctor or any sports physician and have them perform an athletic physical on you. Please bring original. Option 2- Bring $40 and have one of our contracted sports physicians examine you and clear you to play football.

League Player Membership Due

All players must pay a league player membership due of $500 upon arrival and before they can perform any league activities. League player membership due covers all of the players team gear needed for the season (RPFL Game jersey, game pants, 2 league T-Shirts, 2 team T-Shirts, 2 pairs of team shorts, RPFL hat, RPFL backpack, RPFL Water bottle), Liability insurance, Operational expenses (Staff, officials, facilities, transportation, etc.)

Health Insurance

All players must provide their own health insurance. Please bring proof of your current health insurance for verification to training camp. If you need assistance obtaining health insurance, we will provide you with options at training camp.

Equipment

Players must bring their own shoulder pads and white helmet to training camp.
