2017 RPFL DRAFT

The RPFL is a professional football league that provides adult football players with a platform to gain more experience while attaining great quality game film that can be used to market them to the NFL and CFL. The Rivals Professional Football League Draft is an annual event in which the RPFL teams select eligible football players that have attended an RPFL tryout. RPFL tryouts are our only source of player recruitment. The basic design of the draft is that each team is given a position in the drafting order in reverse order relative to its record in the previous season, which means that the last place team is positioned first. From this position, the team can either select a player or trade their position to another team for other draft positions, a player or players, or any combination thereof.

The 2017 RPFL draft will consist of 40 rounds with each team making 1 selection per round. To be draft eligible the prospect must be 18 years of age and have attended a tryout. We require prospects to attend a tryout for them to be draft eligible to create a fair chance for each team to have an equal opportunity at drafting each player.

The 2017 RPFL Draft will be held at the Kingsley Inn Hotel and Conference Center located at 39475 Woodward Avenue Bloomfield Hills, MI 48034. Check-in for draft invited prospects will begin at 11:00 am. Interviews and photographs for all media will be ongoing and the draft will officially begin at 1 pm. Family, Friends and all spectators can purchase 2017 RPFL Draft admission tickets at the door for $30.00 which includes admission to the Draft and dinner.
